Dr. Tassos Dionisopoulos, MD CM FACS, FRCS(C) is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Jewish General Hospital and is considered to be one of Montreal’s premier plastic surgeons. He earned his medical degree in 1985 from McGill University.
Following his residency in General Surgery he also completed his training in Plastic Surgery at McGill University. His subsequent Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City focused on micro-surgery and breast reconstruction. He is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. D, as he is fondly referred to by his patients and colleagues, has been performing aesthetic and reconstructive plastic for over two decades. He is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at McGill University and a staff Plastic Surgeon at St. Mary’s Hospital in Montreal. Dr. Dionisopoulos is a member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgery, l’Association des specialists en chirurgie plastique et esthétique du Québec, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is the site director of Plastic Surgery training at the Jewish General Hospital.
